If you look at your day count it goes from 16/16 to 1/16. Say you spend 16 days at a location then do a comp.

Actually doing a comp in the middle is a money saver. For some reason that resets your day count to zero. Just be sure not to make the rookie mistake of doing a competition while you are there. You get to learn a lake pretty good in that much time as well.
